A nice spacious apartment in a great location but could be better maintained
Very spacious apartment in a great location in Sliema. The apartment was clean with four large bedrooms and a large balcony with excellent views overlooking the harbour. It was nice to arrive to a small welcome-pack of tea and coffee and enough toilet paper to last our stay. Located within a few minutes walk of buses, the Valetta ferry and numerous boat trips, this apartment is a great base for exploring Malta.
The apartment is showing signs of wear and tear from previous guests, with cigarette burns in the furniture and damage to door handles and the fridge. The fridge/freezer was not working on our arrival and we had no hot water in the kitchen. After contacting the hosts, the issues were resolved within a day, however, it was frustrating that these basic features were not checked and properly maintained before our arrival. The hosts also had to reattach a door handle that had been pulled off.
